Under the First Street Bridge

I like taking shots of bridges - from above or below. Something about them is cool. Perhaps it is the symbolic gesture of joining disparate lands or the simple idea of things coming together. Either way, I find them interesting, especially in HDR. I also like the geometric symmetry and the repetitive patterns. This is under the First Street Bridge in downtown Austin, crossing over Town Lake (aka Lady Bird Lake or the Colorado River).
