The majestic fountain at UT

This is the Littlefield Fountain at the University of Texas at Austin campus.  It was created by an Italian sculptor and unveiled in 1933 as a WWI Memorial.  In the distance you can see the UT Tower, which was constructed in the 1930's and rises 307 feet.  The open space between is the South Mall.  There are 6 buildings on the South Mall, 3 on either side and they are commonly referred to as the "Six Pack".  This is a popular area for students to hang out between classes and I was happy to find it deserted on a summer evening.
