Washington DC sunset

Who doesn't like a good sunset?  Everyone one loves them right?  I was walking around in Washington DC, having just turned back from my attempt to make it to the Jefferson Memorial.  It seemed like the longer I walked, the further that memorial was from me.  There was some major construction happening too, which I could see from a distance, so I ended up turning back and just enjoying this marvelous sunset as it unfolded before me.  I was thankful that I had attempted to make it to the Jefferson Memorial, because it allowed me to discover that big pond in front, which sure helps when a sunset is at hand!
