University of Glasgow architecture

Well, I decided to share another photo from Glasgow, Scotland - even though I just posted one yesterday.  I usually try and mix things up, but what the heck!  I guess since this is my blog, I can do whatever I want.  Wow, such freedom.  :-)   Maybe I will share another Glasgow photo tomorrow!  I'm getting crazy now!

While in Glasgow recently, I made a point to get over to the University of Glasgow, which is the fourth-oldest university in the English-speaking world (per Wikipedia), and has a beautiful campus.  There is so much to see and shoot here, even though it really isn't that large of a place.  Then again, I love shooting architecture so it gets my attention in that regard.

This particular area is well-known and often-photographed (and I have shared shots from here before as well), but despite that I wanted to get some more shots of it.  Isn't it cool?   I just love all the arches, and besides this was my first time to shoot it with my wide angle lens.  Love that lens!
