A stunning Italian sunset
What's the best sunset you ever witnessed? This might be mine - definitely top 2 or 3!
Like everyone else in the world, I love to take photos of a gorgeous sunset. Sadly, it's somewhat rare that I get to do so. Either I am not in the right place when it happens, or I am out shooting but the light is only fair. That's ok, because that's how it goes - and it makes you appreciate the incredible ones all that much more.
This was our last evening in the little town of Praiano along the Amalfi Coast in Italy, last year. We were having a lovely dinner on the terrace at the hotel restaurant, and I could see this amazing light coming together. I basically had to leave the dinner table for a while so I could shoot this thing, but nobody seemed to mind. The rest of the patrons were all doing the same thing!
